Special Notice! Mig 29 FulcrumMikoyan MiG-29 Fulcrum
The MiG 29 was developed in the 1970's as an air superiority fighter in the same class as the F-16 and the F-18. NATO assigned the name "Fulcrum" to this aircraft when production was confirmed. The Fulcrum has been operational since 1985. This is truly and advanced fighter. Some of the features include the use of and infra-red search & track sensor, pulse Doppler lookdown/shootdown radar, day/night all weather operation, helmet aiming sight, and highly advanced missiles.

Some of the variants; Fulcrum C has an added fuel capacity, Fulcrum B is a combat trainer with a forward mounted pupil seat. Carrier based version MiG-29K has Zhuk radar, folding wings, wingtip ESM, higher rated engines, higher impact capacity landing gear, arrester hook, higher fuel capacity, in flight refueling, air to air and anti-ship missiles. MiG 29M appeared in 1989 with fly by wire control, RD-33K engines, a new cockpit with multifunction CRT screens, and updated missiles. A MiG-29 has also been designed with thrust vectoring.
