| This is the mighty TKO 5 speed. I am excited about
getting this transmission into the car. It has a better 1st gear
ratio, and of course the overdrive for highway driving. I had to
modify the transmission tunnel to get it up where it belongs. I also
made a custom transmission mount of my own. There were two versions.
The second version is much better. The homemade transmission jack
adaptor worked really well also. After getting it into the car,
there was a huge difference in driving. I highly recommend this swap
for those who want a modern easier shifting transmission for day to
day driving! |
