Shelby Big Front Disc Brake Install
Back Up Next

Increased stopping power is a must with the tremendous power of the 428. The pro-touring theme of the car, makes good brakes also a must. 40 year old braking systems were good for their time, but not any more. With the advent of premium calipers and 2 piece rotors. it makes this change almost automatic. there was a long wait for the system, but the baer kit is well constructed, complete and easy to install. Spring 2010 should see the brakes properly broken in and I'll be able to test them under extreme conditions. For now, we are just taking it easy! System is a 6 piston caliper and 13" 2 piece rotor.
