A look at the backside of the restored suspension assembly.
I purchased a kit which had the retainer pins, spring clips, caliper shield, and rubber
grommets. Only the rubber was in need of replacement.
In this photo it looks like there is still surface rust. I assure you there is no rust. 
It's just a funny reflection from the camera lighting or garage lighting.
